Truly Design - Visual Communication Studio

The new year seems to have kicked off well, and we're swimming against the current brought by the imminent shipwreck of our country. Two prestigious international magazines dedicate a lot of space to Rems' paintings. Furthermore, we just cooked up a spicy musical project and a few logos. Enjoy!

On the side, you can see a portrait by Rems at the 54th Biennale di Venezia, Italian Pavillion of Torino (corso Massimo d'Azeglio 15/B, Palazzo delle Esposizioni Sala Nervi, until Jan 30, 2012).
Besides this, we have a few other portraits by the maestro, a series of illustrations by Mauro, and the visual identity for a scrumptious delicatessen from Salento.We're working on a few other ideas. We'll tell you about them in a month. Ciao!

Here we are at our pre-Xmas newsletter. Our new projects include an illustration for Rock Band TOYS IN THE ATTIC, followed by EDEN, the sneaker launched by DC Shoes in occasion of the Subsonica acoustic tour. Here's an update dedicated exclusively to the new works prepared for our "Questo non è un graffito" show. Enjoy the new stuff by Mach505 and Mauro149 created in the last month!

So here we are, back from our awesome summers, burnin' hot as ever before. We're off already after a week, headed towards Bruxelles for the "2nd Youth Convention on Volunteering" where we'll be holding a Graff Workshop from Sept. 8-10; while on Friday 16th we'll be performing live at the Milano FIAT Motorvillage by "taking care" of an Alfa Giulietta and a smokin' model. A couple of weeks after that we'll be in Ferrara for a big wall, and we just confirmed our presence for live painting at the "Stroke Art Fair", held in Berlin 14-16. Meanwhile, get a load of the walls we painted this summer and our latest graphic projects (Dreamers + Subsonica/DC Shoes).

So here we are a few steps from summer: the season's last commissions hastily fill our schedules, while preparation for September's work takes place, in the remote hope of re-opening the studio with some calm. Amongst recent projects, anamorphs had a big success: here's one painted for Sub Urb Art, and another for the Architettura in Città project. We also had a great time by decorating a 500 for FIAT. In the next three weeks just as many graff jams await us. Stay tuned!

So here we are again, facing summertime: painting, graff jams, last minute booking. Sweaty, paint-stained hands and computers at rest.
As I write this update, Rems is at the Carhartt Gallery in Basel with his latest canvasses, and my mind is drifting towards the coming weekend's piece!

Spring is a time of joy and opening for us graff writers. So far, this spring has brought along new faces and delicious sweetness.

We're also starting to pack up for our upcoming roadtrips: conventions, exhibitions, festivals...

Yesterday, March 8th, the new and long awaited Subsonica album was released. We took care of its design and graphic concept.
Listening to Eden's tracks, we found ourselves in front of a vital and colored album, at the same time mature and conscious, filled with dreams and ideals which must interact with everyday reality. We all build our Eden on what we have, around our own lives.
So, we studied a mural painting able to re-create an earthly paradise in an ordinary bedroom, distorted on walls and furnishing thanks to the anamorph technique. Here is the result!
Furthermore, two series of canvasses by Mauro149 and Rems182, which you can see for yourself at the Artevision Gallery (via Santa Giulia 14/C, Torino) until March 20th.
