Guido Gobino - Turin
Guido Gobino is one of the most famous chocolate manufacturers in town, distinguishing his recipes with exotic and unusual ingredients.
This mural was painted during the annual Cioccolatò event in Torino. Housedada and Para came up with and organized "GuG'art", an artistic event with an exhibition featuring local artists and a charity auction, all held at the Gobino warehouse in central Torino.
The 13 x 10 meter blind façade of the Gobino laboratory in via Cagliari 15/B was entirely covered by an illustration representing a huge outdoor chocolate factory in a natural setting where Torino architectures can be recognized. Bright colors and sketchy lines give freshness to the composition; the integration of windows and air conditioners made it possible to use the entire surface without them being in the way.
A special thanks to all the Gobino staff, who stuffed us with chocolates for a week, at times making it hard to go up and down ladders!
