RFI - Graffiti
The commission was part of a project by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana aimed at requalifying stations to avoid further vandalism.
7 graff artists using 2 very different styles give life to the walls of this station: the hall describes the dynamics of train travel, using graphic elements and perspectives which were directly inspired by the station's existing structures. Acrylic paint was used to avoid closing the station to passengers for spraypaint fumes. The underpass which leads to the tracks is instead an ironic representation of the haste of passengers catching a train, represented as migratory animals running or waiting for their train.
A collaboration with Il Cerchio e le Gocce and Etnik.
